Abstract

Contraceptive use is an important determinant of fertility and population growth. This study confirms women’s status, measured by women’s decision making capacity and their income situation, is closely related to contraceptive use of Filipino women. Also husband’s objection is a major obstacle for women’s contraceptive use, especially when lower educated.
