Abstract

A study into the walkability of several neighbourhoods in Groningen and Athens through measuring the street design of Ewing's model. These results were coupled with the responses of people walking and living in these streets, where a negative relationship was found between people's appreciation of the streets and the height of the scores given to the streets by Ewing's model.
