Abstract
This research search appropiate of river basin organization for implementation in Indonesia considering the lessons from UK and USA. The research finds out that instead creating a new ones, the existing organization can be developed by improving authority and integration, and redesign its institutional framework adjusting with natural, social dan poltical context.
