Abstract

: Poverty among small-scale fisherfolk is widely recognized and acknowledged but is hardly ever the subject of research. There are many interrelated factors that cause poverty in small-scale fisherfolk communities. These factors can be identified with the livelihood approach. In this research special attention is given to forms of social capital.
