Abstract

Urban-rural relationships in the peri-urban area become increasingly complex. In order to improve the ability of policymakers to deal with complex spatial processes, this study examined whether fundamental changes in the peri-urban area could be explained by the concept of transition and to contribute to new spatial strategies.
