Abstract
The role public participation in decision making process is an essential to improve the decision made and to obtain the legitimacy of decisions. Public participation is also related to the evaluation process which their opinions can be used as the inputs to make decisions. In relation to the case of bicycle infrastructure implementation in Taman Ayodya-Blok M and Banjir Kanal Timur bike lanes, the role of public participation is in inform and consultation level which public opinions can be addressed throgh the organisations and/or institutions. As the analysis results, public participation concept in the decision making and the evaluation process can be conducted through direct participation using the website and indirect participation through Jakarta Transportation Council or DTKJ and Forum LLAJ as the media to accommodate public opinions.
