Abstract

The case study of Dordrecht tries to illustrate what kind of effect different socio-economic factors have on the perception of flood risk and which factors change the perception of flood risk. The case study suggests that the examined socio-demographic factors, age, gender and level of education do not affect the perception, which is contrary to the literature found on this subject.
