Abstract

This thesis examines how running routes in Groningen are affected by the perceived environmental supportiveness for running of runners who live in the city of Groningen. The results show that participants tend to prefer running outside the highly urbanized areas due to attracting factors (E.g. nature) and the lack of limiting factors (such as traffic lights and other people).
