Abstract
The main concern of this research is determining the significance of the rural road infrastructure development to poverty alleviation in rural highland area of Wonosobo Regency. Elaborating many previous studies examining the increase in rural incomes and decreasing in poverty indicator such as poor people population poverty with various secondary data of poverty and infrastructure development in Wonosobo Regency and reflecting to the relevant theory, the possibility of improvement in rural welfare and increase in income of the rural poor are explored.
