Abstract

In academic literature I found out that there are a few aspects that change during spatial transformation, which cause negative perception. These are place meanings, social relations, and norms. Using interviews, I have researched the effect of the reinforcement program in the Groningen earthquake area on these three aspects. The link between the aspects and negative perceptions has been analysed and concluded with recommendations for future research and process changes.
