Abstract
The aim of this research is to investigate the reasons for migration from Ukraine to Poland, analyzing them with existing theories. A mixed-methods approach of questionnaires, interviews, secondary data and GIS analysis was used to properly collect and analyse data to answer the research question. As a result, findings show that migration to Poland from Ukraine is influenced by multiple factors such as: better economic and educational opportunities, social and political stability. Moreover, it can be observed that the general migration trend from Ukraine to Poland is increasing throughout the years. Additionally, Poland in general is becoming the final destination for migrants from Eastern Europe.
