Abstract
This thesis used life values as a basis to analyse individual preferences regarding micro apartment acceptance, which were translated into policy measures. Data was gathered through survey questionnaires amongst young and elderly people in the 4 biggest Dutch cities. These results were analysed using statistical tests. Results showed significant preference differences amongst age groups, as well as locations. This knowledge can be used to stimulate micro apartment acceptance amongst the surveyed age groups (if the preferences are correctly taken into account), in order to stimulate compact building.
