Abstract
This thesis aims to gain insight into how everyday lives are experienced by residents of a care home in the Netherlands. It explores how changes in policy on care for older adults affected these experiences, especially focusing on social interactions and on their sense of home. Semi-structured interviews with 10 participants and observations were used in this thesis.
