Abstract

Beijing is a vibrant city with inhabitants from all over the country. Economically, China has become one of the most important trading counties. Its cities provided a lot of new labour opportunities from people all over China, Beijing attracted many people for its opportunities and therefore this city has consequently expanded rapidly. Besides, the rapid development of the economy and therewith employment, changed Beijing in a city that has to deal with challenges such as developing the social welfare system, creating appropriate living and working conditions for migrants and transforming Beijing into an open and comfortable city. The main question of this research elaborates on which aspects of the adaptation process successfully contribute to the integration of rural migrants to the urban way of life and live with urban local people.
