Abstract
Environmental change affects the subsistence-hunting and gender-relations of Arctic communities in various ways. There are many regional variations of environmental changes and in this research the changes in the local area of Arviat and the effects on the inhabitants concerning subsistence-hunting and gender-relations have been subject of research.
