Abstract
This thesis discusses how and by whom Uralla is constructed as ‘Thunderbolt country’. Also it mentions why Thunderbolt is used in Uralla’s place promotion, which elements are left out and how the residents of Uralla feel about the way Thunderbolt is being used in its place promotion.
