Abstract

What is the contextual and systemic milieu in generating demographic data by civil registration? This question probes utilization of civil registration data to inform social development process. This study is framed on United Nations recommendations on a vital statistics system, rooted in responsive legal and organization framework, operationalized in stringent administration.
