This allowed us to further identify alternative strategies to increase the mode shifting probability from private to public transportation. Based on the modelling result using logistic regression, there are six variables that significantly influence mode shifting probability in Bandung City. These variables are vehicle ownership, driving license ownership, distance between public transportation and location of work, perception of mode efficiency, perception of the transport cost, and the perception of mode comfort. As an implication, in order to increase the mode shift probability, these variable should be addressed as main priority in the Bandung transportation planning. Jointly, these variables will be a basis for strategy making to increase the mode shifting probability in Bandung City. date: 2015 date_type: published thesis_type: master degree_programme: EIP tutors_name: Busscher, Tim keywords_local: Transport Demand Management keywords_local: Mode Shifting keywords_local: Mode Choice keywords_local: Logistic Regression language_iso: en titleorder: Mode Shift Probability from Private to Public Transportation (Case Study: Bandung, Indonesia) dbi: 55d57e35e7093 imported_item: yes date_of_import: 2020-04-22 imported_from: http://scripties.frw.eldoc.ub.rug.nl/root/ma/EIP/2015/lrahayu/ import_source_file: theses-frw-20200422132454-55d57e35e7093.xml date_issued: 2015-01-01 citation: Rahayu, Lisna (2015) Mode Shift Probability from Private to Public Transportation (Case Study: Bandung, Indonesia).
