%X This research maps out the entrepreneurial ecosystem for startup- and scale-up companies in the Groningen region. Quantitative methods are used to measure the entrepreneurial elements that compose the entrepreneurial ecosystem, the value of the entrepreneurial ecosystem for supporting and facilitating entrepreneurship and how the entrepreneurial ecosystem could be related to entrepreneurial outputs of the system. The results show that the quality of the entrepreneurial ecosystem is positively related to productive entrepreneurship among startup- and scale-up companies in the Groningen region. By measuring the elements, the value of the entrepreneurial ecosystem and the relations within the system, a contribution is made to the operationalization of quantitative research on  the entrepreneurial ecosystem concept.
