Can it still be changed and what kind of role can social impact assessment play in this? The bases of this paper are four interviews with stakeholders from every side of the discourse, a RUG expert, the NAM spokesperson, the Groninger Bodem Beweging (Local action committee) GBB board member and two local inhabitants. Social impact assessment, as described by Slootweg et al.(2001), is used as a theoretical framework to assess impacts experienced by the local community and what institutional changes can be made to deal with these issues. date: 2013 date_type: published thesis_type: bachelor degree_programme: SGP tutors_name: Hanna, P keywords_local: Aardgas keywords_local: SIA keywords_local: NAM keywords_local: Groningen-veld keywords_local: Aardbevingen keywords_local: Bodemdaling language_iso: en titleorder: Earthquakes above the Groningen gasfield dbi: 521f3fb0e672f imported_item: yes date_of_import: 2020-04-22 imported_from: http://scripties.frw.eldoc.ub.rug.nl/root/ba/SGP/2013/mmollema/ import_source_file: theses-frw-20200422132454-521f3fb0e672f.xml date_issued: 2013-01-01 description_company: Rijksuniversiteit Groningen citation: Mollema, M (2013) Earthquakes above the Groningen gasfield.
