These social phenomena are ageing, human capital, economic resources, housing, local services, and tourism. Linear regression models are calculated as sophisticated description to prove these associations, as the causality direction is not clear from a theoretical point of view. A multivariate regression model is calculated as well. For those variables for which no appropriate data is available to calculate a regression model, a more simple analysis and literature review is done to prove the associations. The Koenker tests suggest that the relationships modelled are stationary and that geographically weighted regression models would not add any relevant information to the study. date: 2013 type: Thesis type: NonPeerReviewed format: text language: en identifier: https://frw.studenttheses.ub.rug.nl/1498/1/Master_Thesis_Reus.pdf identifier: Reus Pons, M.
