Unfortunately, not every girl has or had the privilege to get an education. There are multiple civil society organisations (CSOs) in the Netherlands who care about those girls and want to make a change. CSOs provide help through projects in which the focus is mainly on changing policies through advocacy to help those girls in the long term. Within each project, it is important to collaborate with partners and tackle challenges that arise while collaborating. Partners CSOs have to collaborate with are the local communities, national governments, and donors. Each form of collaboration has its challenges. These challenges concern different norms and values between locals and CSOs, no clear structure or framework for CSOs within national governments and the dependency on donors. CSOs need to be more aware of tackling these constraints in order to improve collaborations. date: 2019 date_type: published thesis_type: bachelor degree_programme: SGP tutors_name: Zhao, Y. keywords_local: partners keywords_local: collaborations keywords_local: civil society organisations keywords_local: education language_iso: en titleorder: How to improve collaborations between civil society organisations and their partners to benefit girls education dbi: 5d52bfdc8b59a imported_item: yes date_of_import: 2020-04-22 imported_from: http://scripties.frw.eldoc.ub.rug.nl/root/ba/SGP/2019/pimensinga/ import_source_file: theses-frw-20200422132455-5d52bfdc8b59a.xml date_issued: 2019-01-01 citation: Mensinga, P.I.
