Housing affordability and road congestion are two major ones. Ongoing urbanization may exacerbate this in the future. Consequently, actors increasingly look at transport-oriented development (TOD), since it might mitigate these problems. In this thesis, the effects of TOD on residential property values are analyzed. The empirical findings indicate a positive relationship between TOD and residential property values. The impact, however, is asymmetrically across property types and distances. date: 2019 type: Thesis type: NonPeerReviewed format: text language: en identifier: https://frw.studenttheses.ub.rug.nl/154/1/Pim_van_der_Zwet_-_S3386341_-__1.pdf identifier: Zwet, P. van der (2019) Transit-oriented development & residential property values: Evidence from North-Holland.
