Housing affordability and road congestion are two major ones. Ongoing urbanization may exacerbate this in the future. Consequently, actors increasingly look at transport-oriented development (TOD), since it might mitigate these problems. In this thesis, the effects of TOD on residential property values are analyzed. The empirical findings indicate a positive relationship between TOD and residential property values. The impact, however, is asymmetrically across property types and distances. %D 2019
