Housing affordability and road congestion are two major ones. Ongoing urbanization may exacerbate this in the future. Consequently, actors increasingly look at transport-oriented development (TOD), since it might mitigate these problems. In this thesis, the effects of TOD on residential property values are analyzed. The empirical findings indicate a positive relationship between TOD and residential property values. The impact, however, is asymmetrically across property types and distances. date: 2019 date_type: published thesis_type: master degree_programme: EG tutors_name: Barzin, S. keywords_local: housing prices keywords_local: real estate keywords_local: transit keywords_local: TOD keywords_local: North-Holland language_iso: en titleorder: Transit-oriented development & residential property values: Evidence from North-Holland dbi: 5d8b74e12fd0c imported_item: yes date_of_import: 2020-04-22 imported_from: http://scripties.frw.eldoc.ub.rug.nl/root/ma/EG/2019/pvanderzwet/ import_source_file: theses-frw-20200422132455-5d8b74e12fd0c.xml date_issued: 2019-01-01 description_company: Decisio citation: Zwet, P. van der (2019) Transit-oriented development & residential property values: Evidence from North-Holland.
