This analysis has resulted in a several striking observations, confronting current spatial dynamics with existing planning policies and strategies. Based on this analysis, recommendations for planning strategies are made, the added value of the concept of transitions as well as the theoretical propositions are discussed, concluding with some final remarks on the position of the spatial planning considering current spatial dynamics. date: 2010 date_type: published thesis_type: master degree_programme: RS tutors_name: Roo, G. de keywords_local: Lock-in keywords_local: Transitions keywords_local: Complexity keywords_local: Wadden Sea Region language_iso: en titleorder: Spatial planning in the Wadden Sea Region; about strategies for development, quality of the environment and spatial synergies dbi: 4b57009986231 imported_item: yes date_of_import: 2020-04-22 imported_from: http://scripties.frw.eldoc.ub.rug.nl/root/ma/RS/2010/shartman/ import_source_file: theses-frw-20200422132453-4b57009986231.xml date_issued: 2010-01-01 citation: Hartman, S (2010) Spatial planning in the Wadden Sea Region; about strategies for development, quality of the environment and spatial synergies.
