%X In this thesis the healthcare seeking behaviour in 15 EU-countries is analysed when suffering from a symptom. The healthcare seeking behaviours within and between the populations of the EU-countries are compared, to see whether there are differences in HSB behaviour between parts of the population split by background characteristics and differences in National healthcare systems. Thus, in this thesis an overall overview of healthcare seeking behaviour in the EU is given.
