Further, this thesis aimed to compare the sensitivities of the axial map and the road centreline map to improve the application of Space Syntax. Tentative formulae were developed to quantify the uncertainty for the axial map and the road centreline map. It was shown that the measure of angular choice was significantly more robust than angular integration. Additionally, it was shown that the road centreline map and the axial map were equally sensitive for angular integration. For angular choice, the road centreline map was more sensitive locally and the axial map was more sensitive globally.
