Greater Jakarta, one of megacities in Indonesia is experiencing heavy traffic jams and inequalities in the provision of public transport, creating a different level of job accessibility for workers to reach certain job location. This thesis manages to find out how those conditions could alter the commuting behavior and how it differs from the theory. Using multiple regression analysis, the results show that people mostly commute in proximity to their residential location; so it is not commuting to the central city anymore. Also, it is shown that the relationship between income and travel time is positive. This means that people with higher income tend to have higher travel time and on the contrary, people with lower income will have lower travel time.} }
