most research about refugees is done quantitatively, this study specifically explores the homemaking processes of Syrian refugees in the Netherlands in a qualitative manner by means of in-depth interviews and mental mapping exercises. The goal was to collect micro-level
information and characterize the process of making a new home in the Netherlands after being forced to flee from Syria.}
