%X This thesis focuses on the concept of the Postsecular from the perspective of the city. Through the perspectives of the city the relevance of the Postsecular is questioned in relation to the secular oriented perspective in planning theory. This research emphasizes a twofold question, firstly whether
there is a Postsecular perspective in planning theory, and secondly it questions the relevance of the Postsecular. So this research neither elaborates on the defining debate, nor does it try to expand the separate body of the Postsecular. Rather it tries to bring the Postsecular in relation to the
contemporary secular oriented perspective in planning theory.
