        abstract = {Several international and national studies suggest that cohousing may contribute to the social cohesion in a neighbourhood. This research will focus on the degree of social cohesion in a neighbourhood by assessing two CPO projects, Veenhof (Groningen) and Meanderhof (Zwolle). The objective is to investigate whether there is a stronger social cohesion with the rest of the neighbourhood resulting from the CPO-projects and not only amongst residents of the CPO-project. Also, potential improvements to the influence of local level spatial policies will be explored to hopefully better the effectiveness of CPO in improving social cohesion.}
