First, it is assessed whether the body composition of the mother affects her breast milk output. Secondly, the socioeconomic status (SES) of the mother is included to test whether a difference in breast milk output between mothers from high and low SES can be found. Thirdly, the association between body composition and breast milk transfer is studied on the macro level by including a country’s stage in the nutrition transition in the analysis. date: 2014 type: Thesis type: NonPeerReviewed format: text language: en identifier: https://frw.studenttheses.ub.rug.nl/2197/1/Thesis_F.Hitzert_final.pdf identifier: Hitzert, F.G.
