First, it is assessed whether the body composition of the mother affects her breast milk output. Secondly, the socioeconomic status (SES) of the mother is included to test whether a difference in breast milk output between mothers from high and low SES can be found. Thirdly, the association between body composition and breast milk transfer is studied on the macro level by including a country’s stage in the nutrition transition in the analysis. date: 2014 date_type: published thesis_type: master degree_programme: POPST tutors_name: Haisma, H.H. keywords_local: socioeconomic status keywords_local: body composition keywords_local: breast milk output keywords_local: smoking keywords_local: nutrition transition language_iso: en titleorder: Breast milk transfer across the globe: the influence of maternal body composition, socioeconomic status and smoking dbi: 53fb10c0dc5dc imported_item: yes date_of_import: 2020-04-22 imported_from: http://scripties.frw.eldoc.ub.rug.nl/root/ma/PopSt/2014/fghitzert/ import_source_file: theses-frw-20200422132454-53fb10c0dc5dc.xml date_issued: 2014-01-01 citation: Hitzert, F.G.
