Results show that capital is cumulative and financial resources still have a strong impact on exclusion from civic participation and social relations. Exclusion from civic participation varies across districts, though a small sample size prevents significant effects in the most comprehensive model. Future research must focus on a more complex definition of centralisation and utilize mixed methods designs. date: 2019 date_type: published thesis_type: master degree_programme: POPST tutors_name: Mulder, C. tutors_name: Hank, K. keywords_local: Exclusion keywords_local: Peripheralisation keywords_local: Aging language_iso: en titleorder: Exclusion and Old Age - An environmental perspective on social exclusion in later life in Germany dbi: 5d95c5996a7f9 imported_item: yes date_of_import: 2020-04-22 imported_from: http://scripties.frw.eldoc.ub.rug.nl/root/ma/PopSt/2019/lfobel/ import_source_file: theses-frw-20200422132455-5d95c5996a7f9.xml date_issued: 2019-01-01 citation: Fobel, L.
