The primary conclusion from the analysis of the logistic regression is the fact that smoking behaviour is associated with smoking-related morbidity. The logistic regression analyses suggest that an additive relationship between the impact of smoking behaviour on smoking-related morbidity, it does not reflect the social vulnerability hypothesis; people in low economic status are at great risk of smoking-related morbidity. The seriousness of the tobacco epidemic among Indonesian population highlights the need for effective intervention prevention efforts targeting smoking. Early prevention programs and targeting efforts need to be culturally tailored, gender specific, multidimensional, and challenge the cultural perceptions of smokers among Indonesian population. date: 2011 date_type: published thesis_type: master degree_programme: POPST tutors_name: Janssen, Fanny keywords_local: demographic characteristics, socioeconomic status, smoking b language_iso: en titleorder: Indonesian smoking behaviour and its effect on smoking-related morbidity : a case-study basd on IFLS Data Analysis in 2007 dbi: 4e6f66d22845f imported_item: yes date_of_import: 2020-04-22 imported_from: http://scripties.frw.eldoc.ub.rug.nl/root/ma/PopSt/2011/dpharahap/ import_source_file: theses-frw-20200422132453-4e6f66d22845f.xml date_issued: 2011-01-01 citation: Harahap, Dikot Pramdoni (2011) Indonesian smoking behaviour and its effect on smoking-related morbidity : a case-study basd on IFLS Data Analysis in 2007.
