Adaptation strategies to counter this risk should be embedded within policy to establish a climate resilient development and should be directed to enhance natural system to ensure the continuity of supply goods and services (ecosystem-based adaptation). Within the case study, these issues might not actualize in specific projects so called ecosystem services and/or climate change adaptation assessment. However, consideration of services ecosystem generated and the effect due to disruption of biophysical system is well addressed within development plans. Specifically regulating services to dampen the risk of floods, landslide and erosion which are become the main threats. Adaptation strategies focus on rehabilitation of land and forest and water resources. Apart from these, there is little indication on ecosystem trade-offs. How the preference over particular services affects the continuity of other services is not highlight within development plans. date: 2013 date_type: published thesis_type: master degree_programme: EIP tutors_name: Woltjer, Johan tutors_name: Suroso, Djoko Santoso Abi keywords_local: development plan keywords_local: resilience keywords_local: adaptation keywords_local: climate change impact keywords_local: water resources keywords_local: ecosystem services keywords_local: ecosystem-based adaptation language_iso: en titleorder: Integrating Climate Change Adaptation on Water Sector Into Development Plan by Making Use of Ecosystem Services Approach, Case Study: Upper Brantas River Basin, Indonesia dbi: 521f5b2ee184e imported_item: yes date_of_import: 2020-04-22 imported_from: http://scripties.frw.eldoc.ub.rug.nl/root/ma/EIP/2013/wWidiastuti/ import_source_file: theses-frw-20200422132454-521f5b2ee184e.xml date_issued: 2013-01-01 citation: Widiastuti, Wahyu (2013) Integrating Climate Change Adaptation on Water Sector Into Development Plan by Making Use of Ecosystem Services Approach, Case Study: Upper Brantas River Basin, Indonesia.
