This study investigates how such processes of studentification may influence the tendency of established residents to move. Moreover, it analyses whether this influence differs for neighbourhoods with student housing in multiple occupation and neighbourhoods with purpose-built student accommodation. Research has shown that the intention of residents to move depends on several factors, partly based on the satisfaction with and change of the neighbourhood. This study indicates that studentification can impact neighbourhood satisfaction, and therefore contributes to the intention to move of established residents. Based on a survey in two neighbourhoods of a similar type in the city of Groningen, a significant difference between the neighbourhood with housing in multiple occupation and the neighbourhood with purpose-built student accommodation has not been found.}, url = {https://frw.studenttheses.ub.rug.nl/3277/} }
