As a\r\nsolution, temporary water storage, both above and below ground, is being implemented as a measure\r\nagainst flooding. The city Rotterdam is one of the leading players in the world of making the city climateproof (Afeworki et al. 2017). In this report, 3 cases of temporary water storage are analysed and compared\r\nbased on 3 different elements: Effectivity of the measure, functionality and the design of the measure. In\r\nthese cases, to decrease the problem of pluvial flooding, underground storage can be considered to be most\r\nefficient.
