These regions have to deal with the disappearance of bus lines which can lead to less mobility for people who are dependent on public transport. Flexible public transport, Mobility as a Service and DRT are often mentioned in mobility theory and several regions have to deal with the same problems. DRT can also be used to reduce car usage which is an important step to sustainable transport. date: 2021 type: Thesis type: NonPeerReviewed format: text language: en identifier: https://frw.studenttheses.ub.rug.nl/3437/1/DRT%20to%20keep%20shrinking%20areas%20accessible.pdf identifier: Koster, Rob (2021) Demand-responsive and sustainable ways of (public) transport to keep shrinking regions in Groningen accessible.
