Recently, development of fisheries planning approach has changed from top-down style toward collaborative planning or co-management where it is effective way to address the problem in fisheries management. One main aspect of fisheries co-management is institutional arrangement. This research is aimed to explore and compare the institutional arrangement of fisheries co-management from Philippines and New Zealand experiences. Then, the result is expected to gain better insight by getting lessons learned for the improvement of fisheries co-management in Indonesia. There are some good aspects that could be relevant or adaptable to transfer for Indonesian context such as cooperation of local governments to manage fisheries management over particular waters and the initiative of management quota system for certain limited deep water. However, those case studies still need some improvements since they meet many difficulties to deal with. date: 2012 date_type: published thesis_type: master degree_programme: EIP tutors_name: Woltjer, J. keywords_local: institutional arrangement keywords_local: fisheries co-management language_iso: nl titleorder: Institutional Arrangement for Fisheries Co-Management: Lessons From New Zealand and Philippines Experiences for Indonesia dbi: 50d03b17c0d12 imported_item: yes date_of_import: 2020-04-22 imported_from: http://scripties.frw.eldoc.ub.rug.nl/root/ma/EIP/2012/rarifuddin/ import_source_file: theses-frw-20200422132453-50d03b17c0d12.xml date_issued: 2012-01-01 citation: Arifuddin, R.
