abstract: This research aims to build on different ways to support international students within the context of the Covid-19 pandemic and the University of Groningen, based on the international student experiences. This is done by using a survey that was disseminated to 30 international students. The main results show that a majority of student support methods were not received by a large portion of the international students, despite the positive influence that the international students stated the majority of these methods (would) have had on them. The international students also brought up other criticisms of the available support methods and suggested new support methods as well. The results indicate that an increase in the supply and quality of certain student support methods can
improve student mental health and educational progress.
