Understanding how age diversity is experienced by workers is an important step in optimizing outcomes associated with it. This paper uses in-depth interview interviews with young and old Dutch workers to learn about their experiences with age diversity. It is revealed that workers greatly value the skills and knowledge of their age-diverse coworkers. The results suggest that information and skill transfer is a two-way street that benefits both young and old workers. An approach from grounded theory is used to propose a conceptual model that describes how worker complementarities shape how age diversity is experienced. date: 2022 type: Thesis type: NonPeerReviewed format: text language: en identifier: https://frw.studenttheses.ub.rug.nl/3912/1/Archive_Re_Thesis_DanijelKrilic_S3183009.pdf identifier: Krilić, Danijel (2022) Age Diversity: Employing Qualitative Research to Understand how the Experience of Workers is Formed.
