abstract: This research investigates to what extent housing prices and rent prices play a role in the residential location choice of future graduates from Groningen. Other factors that could play a role in future graduates' residential location choices have also been examined to determine the relative importance of housing- and rent prices. A questionnaire distributed among future graduates was part of the quantitative study. Based on existing literature, the variables were chosen and employed in a binary logistic regression analysis. Additionally, via interviews, information on how housing prices play a role in the decision-making process of future graduates was gathered. The findings suggest that housing prices play a role in the residential location choice of future graduates to a certain extent; some other factors play a more important role.
