Easy-to-use methodologies for measuring walkability are needed to take advantage of available pedestrian mobility information, such as the relationship to infrastructure, and influences on mobility choices. Based on literature, a composite walkability index that measures factors such as functionality, diversity, comfort, and perceived safety is proposed. The viability of the walkability index is tested on five streets in Bucharest, Romania. date: 2023 pages: 42 thesis_type: bachelor degree_programme: TP tutors_name: Margaritis, E. tutors_organization: Fac.
