%A L.J. Manenschijn %X This study examines the relationship between the number of established businesses in university municipalities and post-graduate migration patterns in the Netherlands. The research focuses on whether the presence of established businesses influences the likelihood of graduates remaining in their university cities or migrating elsewhere. Using data from CBS for the years 2020 to 2022, linear regression analyses were performed to assess this relationship. The results indicate a significant negative linear relationship, suggesting that higher numbers of established businesses are associated with lower post-graduate migration rates. This falls in line with literature research that post-graduates migrate to places with job opportunities. %T The relationship of businesses activity on post-graduate migration in the Netherlands %D 2024 %L theses_frw4543
