A comparison was done between 2 cases within the city of Groningen based on differences. Therefore the main research question became: “How is the production of space organized in Tuinwijck and the AAoVinkhuizen within the city of Groningen?”. Primary and secondary data was collected by conducting interviews, observations and a document analysis. Overall both community gardens differ in most aspects of the production of space, which was expected since the difference in case selection. A suggestion for future research is to take a closer look at which point the power struggle between the space of representation and the representation of space becomes fully within the space of representation or fully within representation of space as is shown in this research. date: 2024 pages: 92 thesis_type: bachelor degree_programme: TP tutors_name: Popken, B.F. tutors_organization: Fac.
