To overcome, government has established Water Treatment Plants (WTPs) that are handed over to community in management and maintenance. However, it faces unpreparedness to handle that is closely related to the capacity owned by the community. Therefore, it is necessary to study more deeply in terms of what people have been tried to do to realize the sustainability of water treatment plant, what the elements of community capacity that have influence, and what the real problems faced. The study was conducted by field survey in Yogyakarta that has community-based WTP project. The result shows the leadership and management factors have the greatest role in realizing the effectiveness of WTP. In addition, it indicates the interrelationship between the elements of institutional capacity that can be described in an interrelation scheme. date: 2012 date_type: published thesis_type: master degree_programme: EIP tutors_name: Woltjer, Prof. Johan keywords_local: Water Treatment Plant keywords_local: Effectiveness keywords_local: Community capacity language_iso: en titleorder: Influence of Community Capacity to the Effectiveness of Community-Based Water Treatment (Case of the City of Yogyakarta, Indonesia) dbi: 50d03ce541e10 imported_item: yes date_of_import: 2020-04-22 imported_from: http://scripties.frw.eldoc.ub.rug.nl/root/ma/EIP/2012/aamrullah/ import_source_file: theses-frw-20200422132453-50d03ce541e10.xml date_issued: 2012-01-01 citation: Amrullah, Arif (2012) The Influence of Community Capacity to the Effectiveness of Community-Based Water Treatment (Case of the City of Yogyakarta, Indonesia).
