A qualitative method was used for collection of the data. Coding was then used to find what the general attitudes were. This indicated that perception of "the poor" plays an important role in differing attitudes. Also, "messiness" in a neighbourhoods architecture as well as in terms of rubbish laying around was marked as important by many of the participants. Parks and greenspace tend to increase walkability of a neighbourhood, and thus create more exposure between neighbourhoods, which was lacking in many cases. date: 2017 date_type: published thesis_type: bachelor degree_programme: SGP tutors_name: Liu, X. keywords_local: Neighbourhood keywords_local: Adjacent keywords_local: Attitude keywords_local: Attitudes keywords_local: Social Housing language_iso: en titleorder: Attitudes towards social housing: a study amongst residents of adjacent neighbourhoods dbi: 5899c3271fa88 imported_item: yes date_of_import: 2020-04-22 imported_from: http://scripties.frw.eldoc.ub.rug.nl/root/ba/SGP/2017/mwjvaneerden/ import_source_file: theses-frw-20200422132454-5899c3271fa88.xml date_issued: 2017-01-01 citation: Eerden, M.W.J. van (2017) Attitudes towards social housing: a study amongst residents of adjacent neighbourhoods.
