It has tried to achieve this by measuring people’s representations in a quantitative way, before, directly after and one week after the showing of romanticized TV-advertisements and tried find the cause of the changes in representation in the age and TV consumption of respondents. It was found that while these TV-advertisements made representations of Dutch agriculture significantly more romantic, there was no causal relation between these changes and the selected outside factors, showing the complexities in the formation of representations and the difficulties of researching them using quantitative methods. date: 2017 date_type: published thesis_type: bachelor degree_programme: SGP tutors_name: Strijker, D. tutors_name: Boumans, B.M. keywords_local: marketing keywords_local: agriculture keywords_local: geography language_iso: nl titleorder: Romanticized Representations dbi: 58dbc4e04be6f imported_item: yes date_of_import: 2020-04-22 imported_from: http://scripties.frw.eldoc.ub.rug.nl/root/ba/SGP/2017/wrdeboer/ import_source_file: theses-frw-20200422132454-58dbc4e04be6f.xml date_issued: 2017-01-01 citation: Boer de, W.R.
